About Michael

Michael Persall is Founder and Chairman of ABP Capital and is the Owner and Chairman of C3bank, a nationally chartered bank he and his partners acquired in 2014. Mr. Persall is also a Lead Investor and Board Member for Vuori, a performance apparel company, a Partner in Troubadour Golf & Field Club and a Founder and Board Member of Blooma, an AI powered loan origination platform.

Mr. Persall graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of San Diego and began his career with Ernst & Young as a CPA before serving in executive and board member roles with companies specializing in banking, real estate, and construction. Prior to founding ABP Capital in 2012, he founded Persall Group, which focused on investments in real estate, distressed assets, securities, and commercial notes. During his career, Mr. Persall has deployed over $4 billion across investments in loans, real estate, equities, banks, and more.

Mr. Persall has served on the Board of Trustees for the University of San Diego since 2019 and is an active member of the San Diego YPO chapter. Philanthropically, he is an active supporter of Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and the Diabetes Research Connection and a donor to the University of San Diego.
